Samsung GALAXY Note TV Commercial TV-Spot Werbung

So it is a phone afterall...er...sort of.  But it's a tablet too...with stylus support and a 5.3 inch screen, bigger even than the recently introduced Galaxy Nexus.  The stylus is named the 'S Pen' and it takes notes, draws, manipulates images, captures screen shots, navigates the OS among other functions.  What's not clear is if there is any sort of handwriting recognition included.

The video below shows how the 'S Pen' can be used to draw on virtually any screenshot, image or webpage and then copy that page and send via email or share it with others.  Specs include a 1.4 dual core processor, Super HD AMOLED display(1280x800, 285 ppi) front and rear cameras (2mp and 8mp) and the famous Touchwiz UI.  A special event this Thursday being put on by Samsung promises to reveal more details on the Galaxy Note and until then you can check out the Galaxy Note website at the link below.

That interesting, it seems Samsung’s Galaxy Note has prompted critics to wonder whether the fact that it’s not a smartphone and not a tablet will inspire consumers to try something new, or what it isn’t. The $300 price isn’t priced to move, but it is consistent with high-end smartphone prices seen by Verizon of late. That’s a departure for AT&T, who appear to be banking on the novelty of the Galaxy Note justifying the price. Ultimately, the technology-buying public will be the ones to decide, as they speak with their wallets. For me its a little bit pricey but isn't it wonderful you have the latest gadget at your hand.
